KTU+A Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge

KTU+A was a runner-up in the Small Company Category (1-99 employees) of the SANDAG Regional Bike to Work Day (BTWD) Corporate Challenge in May 2010. Fifty percent of KTU+A's employees participated in the program, with employees riding from Coronado, Mira Mesa, Old Town, Pacific Beach, Banker's Hill and North Park.
In addition to the Corporate Challenge, KTU+A also sponsored a BTWD pit stop at the corner of Normal Street and University Avenue in Uptown. "We had our first riders stop by at 6:00 am on Friday," noted Joe Punsalan, KTU+A's event co-organizer. Overall, the pit stop drew more than 75 cyclists from all over the county. Pit stop visitors were entered into a free drawing for Cal Coast Bicycle gift certificates, and visitors also received coupons for free tire patch kits from Cal Coast.
