Experience: Sandy Swaner-Carmona was named a principal with KTU+A in December 2008 and leads the firm's Federal Planning Services. She has specific expertise in Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard facility planning throughout the United States.
With her extensive knowledge of the federal planning system, Sandy provides the technical expertise and project management skills required to meet and exceed KTU+A's client's needs. Her planning experience includes: regional plans, installation master plans, capital improvement plans, basic facility requirements, space utilization plans, and the documentation of military construction MILCON planning projects (DD1391s).
In her free time, Sandy enjoys traveling with her husband Edward, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
