KTUA is a collaboration of planners, landscape architects, GIS analysts, and graphic designers focused on the creation of livable communities. Established in 1970, KTUA has expanded the boundaries of a traditional landscape architecture office by incorporating active transportation, community planning, federal planning, and natural resource management practices into our portfolio. With this diversity, KTUA has the ability to help shape the bigger picture while addressing the fine-grained details that contribute to sustainable natural and built environments.

<h4>Senior Designer/Landscape Architect (3-5 Years Experience)</h4>

<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>KTUA is looking for an inspired, creative, and motivated individual with a passion for community-based design and healthy placemaking to work with our project managers and senior staff on a variety of projects for public agencies, educational facilities, and private developers. Projects are typically located throughout Southern and Central California. Responsibilities  include landscape </span><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>architecture design, 3-D modeling and rendering, plan rendering,  conceptual plans, construction document  production (hardscape, details, irrigation and planting design), construction administration assistance, project management on select projects, and  marketing assistance.</span>

<b>Qualifications:</b>
<ul>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Undergraduate or graduate degree in planning, landscape architecture, architecture, or urban planning/design.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>3 – 5 years of experience with a landscape architectural firm.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Working towards or currently a PLA.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Strong project management and organizational skills required.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Strong report writing, research, and presentation skills required.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Ability to work on and/or manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate multiple staff.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Motivated self-starter able to work in a team environment and independently.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites required.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Proficiency with AutoCAD is required and LandFXis a plus. </span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Additional experience desirable with ArcGIS, SketchUP or other 3D modeling, and visual simulation software.</span></li>
<li style=”font-weight: 400;” aria-level=”1″><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Must be authorized to work in the USA (Citizenship or current VISA/Green Card).</span></li>
